The traditional International Grand Market will once again take place in Rovaniemi city centre from Thursday to Sunday, 3–6 September 2026. The market will bring plenty of visitors, vendors and market stalls to the city centre.
The City of Rovaniemi welcomes residents and visitors to the market. The event is organised by TMK Tori- ja markkinakaupan palvelukeskus Oy.
The market area will be located in the heart of the city centre, including part of Rovakatu. There will be temporary changes to traffic arrangements and parking in the city centre.
Those travelling in the city centre should be prepared for heavier-than-usual traffic and possible changes to traffic control throughout the event.

Changes to Traffic and Parking
The construction of the market area, the event itself and dismantling work require temporary traffic arrangements.
Preparations for the event began on Tuesday, 1 September, and streets and parking spaces will be taken out of use in stages. Temporary traffic arrangements are indicated by traffic signs, and traffic will be directed on site when necessary.
Always check the traffic signs and temporary traffic arrangements before parking or driving into the event area.
For Residents and Other Drivers
During the event, it is particularly important to follow all applicable parking restrictions, time limits and other traffic signs.
- Do not park in the event area or in areas temporarily closed to parking.
- Follow parking regulations and traffic signs.
- Keep emergency access routes, pavements, cycle paths and other routes clear.
- Allow more time than usual when travelling through the city centre.
- Whenever possible, consider walking, cycling or using public transport.
Exhibitors must also follow the parking and traffic arrangements in effect during the event.
The City of Rovaniemi has agreed on designated parking spaces for exhibitors with the event organiser as part of granting the permit for the event.
