The autumn holiday for schoolchildren will take place from October 12 to 18, 2026.
The City of Rovaniemi is once again offering autumn holiday activities for children and young people.
Autumn holiday activities will be compiled in the city’s events calendar at tapahtumat.rovaniemi.fi/syysloma starting on September 22.
The programme includes, among other things, a two-day course preparing participants under the age of 29 for the hunter’s examination on October 13 and 15; a children’s theatre performance of Tatu and Patu on October 14; a hygiene proficiency course for 13–17-year-olds on October 16; a LEGO event on October 17; as well as camps, excursions, adventure activities and group activities organized by youth centres. Please note that many of the activities require advance registration and have a limited number of places.
More detailed information about the holiday activities organized by the city will be published in the events calendar, with the first registrations opening on September 22. The programme will be updated as details are confirmed.
The events calendar will also include autumn holiday activities organized by parties other than the city. The city encourages organizations and other activity providers to add their own autumn holiday activities to the events calendar.
