The school summer holiday runs from June 1 to August 11.
The City of Rovaniemi will once again organize summer activities for children and young people this year. The activities will be compiled in the city’s event calendar at tapahtumat.rovaniemi.fi/kesa starting Wednesday, May 6.
The program includes, among other things, an overnight camp for 3rd–6th graders from June 2–4, active day camps from June 8–11 and June 15–18, as well as guided group activities and events. Participation in the camps is limited. The traffic park will open on June 1 and will host activities and events throughout the summer.
More detailed information about the city’s summer activities will be published in the event calendar, and the first registrations will open on May 6. The selection will be expanded as more details are confirmed.
The event calendar will also include summer programs organized by parties other than the city. The city encourages organizers to add their own summer activities to the calendar.
