Kela provides financial support to people in various situations. MoniNet is a multicultural centre where people can use the internet, meet and get advice and assistance for various situations and problems. The Verso Partnership Project
The Verso project provides support for new immigrants settling in the area, including Finnish language instruction and service guidance helping to develop skills to cope in society and early settling process (for example to find jobs or suitable courses). The project also organises activities for people who are not in the workforce (housewives, young people, the eldery and disabled people). The Verso project is a partnership project between the Immigration Office and MoniNet.
