It is not possible to make an appointment to first aid; waiting time can last even several hours. It is very advisable that you get in touch by telephone with first aid or your own team before leaving, so it can be estimated if you need urgent treatment or if your illness can be treated by phone or by your own GP’s reception.

Emergency patient (reception within 24 hours):
Emergency or urgency situation ensue from acute sickness or accident, where treatment must be given in 24 hours.

  • Examples: chest pain, difficulties in breathing, stroke, severe dizziness, unconsciousness, sudden confusion, bleeding wound, suspected bone fracture, sudden gastric pain, risk of miscarriage, difficult ear pain (child doesn’t stop crying even though given analgesias), high fever and lowering condition, burn, dehydration following diarrhoea or vomiting, acute back pain with numbness in lower extremities, difficult allergic reaction.

Urgent patient (reception within 1-3 working days):

In urgent situations contact must be taken to own team by phone. There are vacant times in teams. Teams serve from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm (Mon-Thurs) and from 8.00 am to 3.00 pm (Fri).

  • Examples: tonsillitis, acute and subacute viral infections, sinusitis, conjunctivitis, suspected otitis without strong symptoms (including children), allergic signs, back pain, suspected venereal disease, vaginitis, prostatitis, slight adults’ urinary infections, exanthems etc.
