Frosty Winter
16.1 - 28.2
The first of the eight seasons in the yearly cycle is frosty winter. New Year festivities are followed by quiet, cold winter days. The darkness of the days is illuminated by the northern lights dancing across the sky. The dark winter period means spending time together. The harsh conditions have taught people to come together; to survive together; to seek warmth and support in numbers. You could say that the worse the weather, the more certain it is that venues and events are full: be it sporting events, club meetings or theatre shows.
