The last season, and end to the yearly cycle, is Christmas. During the polar night, people rest after the exhausting ecstasy of summer; sleep, eat, and think things over. Christmas time also denotes the arrival of Christmas light. The streets fill with the bustle of different cultures and languages. A number of activities take place especially for Christmas. Rovaniemi’s character is best presented during the Christmas season.
