To place an interlibrary loan request, you need a Libraries of Lapland library card. If you don’t have a library card, you can get one at the library by presenting a valid ID.
You may have up to 20 interlibrary loans either on loan or on order at a time.
An interlibrary loan can be renewed for up to a year, provided there are no reservations for it and the lending library’s loan terms allow the renewal.
Interlibrary loans cannot be requested if your library card has outstanding fees of €10 or more.
Overdue charges set by Libraries of Lapland and the Rovaniemi City Library also apply to interlibrary loans.
Interlibrary loans are subject to a fee. Interlibrary loans from Finland cost 2,50–7 € depending on which Finnish library sends the loan.
Interlibrary loans from abroad cost 15 €. For copies, we charge the lending library’s fee and the library’s printing fee.
