The service coordination for early childhood education helps families who need information about early childhood education and care and the various options that are available:

• Daycare centres in Rovaniemi
• Family-based childcare
• Open early childhood education
• Pre-primary education
• Client fees and applications
• Child home care allowance

The service coordinators process all new applications for early childhood education, all applications for early childhood education service vouchers, and all applications for early childhood education transfers. The team has knowledge of all the available places in early childhood education and care.

The team’s client secretaries are responsible for handling matters related to client fees for early childhood education and care, and also make decisions on daycare fees and service vouchers. They will also receive any documents or receipts attached to income declarations.

• Decisions on fees will be made on the basis of the parents’ or guardians’ income declaration.
• The client is required to keep both their income data and any changes in the size of their family up to date.

If a client accepts the highest fee category, they do not have to provide any income data. Clients can approve their fee category using Edlevo e-service.
